What a Year!

I can't believe that it has been almost a year since my one and only post on what I thought was going to be a daily regimen of writings. Unfortunately, this eager ambition of my mine to be the next great blogger of our generation never manifested into existence. So here we are, one year older and wiser.

Andrea and I are quickly approaching our 1 year anniversary and it has been a fun year. Our honeymoon to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite was awesome and I highly recommend it to all who love to travel! We have the cutest little house here in Abilene and we are looking at possibly buying our first home. Andrea was hired on full time with AISD and will continue to teach 3rd grade in the fall. We both love our church and are excited to be in the midst of God's will for our life!

Life and Its Changes

Well, I guess I too am going to give this a try. Several of my friends in this great big 'ol world are putting their best foot forward and I want to see how many people really are interested in learning more about the in's and out's of my life.

Speaking of life, the greatest thing in the world is about to take place. In just three short days I will be getting married. I can't believe that I have been so richly blessed to have found the one my heart has longed for all these years. Andrea is simply the greatest woman in the world. She is my best friend, my love, and the one who spurs me on in my life. She is such an encourager and I am extremely excited to be the one she chose to spend the rest of her life with.

Life has many changes... and this is the first in many changes that are ahead for us. I look forward to sharing my meanderings about life, love and other mysteries to all those who may be interested.
